ALIFE x New Era – Fall 2009 – Fitted Caps

Once again for the Fall 2009 collection, ALIFE have gotten together with New Era to produce some solid 59FIFTY fitted caps as usual. The Professional takes merges loud and subtle into one with basic exterior that is contradicted with full leopard print on the under visor and inner linings. Subtle embroidery of Alife logos on the front and sides with their famous slogan ‘LIKE NO OTHER’ embroidered in 3D on the back.

Thrasher x New Era – 59FIFTY Caps

Any skateboarder would be familiar with the name Thrasher, which is a magazine synonymous to hardcore skateboarding. Before skateboarders were treated like celebrities and athletes Thrasher Magazine documented the hardcore lifestyle of skateboarders for many decades. They have released a fitted cap with New Era on the ever popular 59FIFTY base cap in three embroidery colorways. The front panel features the classic Thrasher logo in white, purple or gold on black base cap. Under the visor features another iconic design and slogan “Skate and Destroy” which pretty much sums up the attitude of Thrasher and the skateboarding culture they support.

Set to release in September as part of their 2009 fall collection, Flying Coffin put together two versions of their Neo Buffalo 5-panel. A glow in the dark version is seen alongside a slightly more toned black version, however the black style isn’t without its own angle as it features reflective 3M ink for that added nighttime pop.
