You know whats cool about the internet? It has everything documented. I’ve been a fan of A-trak since day one so i always checked his blog/myspace to see what was happening and when his NYC shows were. I remember when Fools Gold was first introduced and I remember meeting Kid Cudi at a Fools Gold/10 Deep Xmas party a couple years back when NO ONE knew who he was. So I (we) basically watched Fools Gold start and progress through our very eyes. They really give the “indie” labels hope and reassurance when solid material is present. Meaning that if you perfect your “art” (music, graf, dance, etc) to get it to the best it can be and you create your one entity NOBODY can stop you. Mix that with a few others that can manage, assist, and execute and you got yourself a business. Funny part about this is that Fools Gold is clearly only gonna get bigger, badder, and better.
WOW ! I’m chugging Haterade right now, I’m not happy I missed this bash !
Boys Noize, A-trak, and Medhi all on the same bill in LA for NYE ? This is my kind of party.

The EP features the first official release of the title track as well as a hyperactive juke remix of Crookers’ anthem “Knobbers” by DJ Gant-Man, and two incredible takes on the follow-up Cudi collab “Embrace The Martian” courtesy of UK beat maestro Seiji - a crunching, hard-hitting “booty mix” and a squelchy acid version that take the dreamy original to two new heights. Take a listen to the acid mix right now at RCRD LBL.
