GZA – “Hip Hop Fury”

This is a track off GZA’s 2nd album release “Beneath The Surface” (1999). The track is a personal favorite of mine for some time that John Colombo put me on to but for whatever reason I didnt know the name of the track. I looked all over for it and struck out. The problem was I thought it was on the “Legend of the Liquid Sword” album (2002) only to stumble across it yesterday on the correct album with the title being “Hip Hop Fury”. #Finally

Trailer: “Wu-Tang Vs. The Golden Phoenix”

The RZA’s latest project, a martial arts film titled Wu-Tang Vs. The Golden Phoenix, is coming to fruition, as a trailer for the movie has now been made available.

Featuring members of Jackie Chan’s stunt team, a 34th-generation Shaolin Monk, and Dr. King Ogun Ali Muhammad, the movie is filmed in the style of older martial arts movies, many of which are sampled in Wu-Tang Clan songs.

The RZA will star alongside Robert Li as a Wu-Tang disciple, and will direct the film as well.
